Tafsir for Kids - Surah Al-Fil
Çocuklar İçin Tefsir9 minages 3-8
Surah al-Fil teaches that Allah’s power protects what He wills, while humility matters more than outward grandeur.
What the tale is about
The sacred Kaaba in Makkah is threatened when Abraha, the governor of Yemen, marches against it with a powerful army and elephants at its front. Abdul-Muttalib leads the people of Makkah to safety in mountain caves, where they wait for what will happen. Then, by Allah’s command, ababil birds fill the sky and drop tiny stones on the army. Abraha is badly wounded, and the Kaaba is protected. The event becomes known as the Year of the Elephant, while Surah al-Fil points children toward Allah’s power, humility, and trust in His will.
