What the tale is about

In a peaceful wheat field, the Country Mouse visits the City Mouse’s home, where tempting food is surrounded by frightening cats and sudden danger. At the edge of a forest, an old miller and his son take their donkey to market during a difficult winter, changing their plan whenever passersby offer new advice. When they try to carry the donkey, it falls from a bridge into the river and disappears. Together, the stories celebrate gratitude, thoughtful choices, and the value of security over wealth.
