What the tale is about
A storyteller spends the whole day putting things off, telling visitors he is busy while failing to write anything. At bedtime, he remembers Surah Al-Asr, a short surah that teaches the value of time. Together with the children, he explores its name, three verses, revelation in Makkah, and message that faith, good deeds, truthfulness, and patience lead to success. He also explains how the Companions recited it when parting. Inspired by the surah, he makes a plan to set priorities, avoid delays, learn, support friends, and use his time well.
